We aim to create functional designs for our global clientele, prioritizing ease of wear and providing a sense of comfort without restrictions, all while maintaining high standards of quality, uniqueness, excellence, and luxury.
OUR CEO
Alfred Nii Kwei Akrong, also known as NKD is the Creative Director of NKD Style.
The motivation to enter fashion begun when he was in the University. Whenever he appeared for lectures, even his lecturers will complement him. It so continued until one Lady Professor called him and asked him whether he has thought of venturing into Fashion after school.
He didn’t take it serious until he met three other friends in church after he was done with school (tertiary). These friends were also passionate about fashion.
So they agreed to start a clothing line in the year 2013. They called it “Zip Down Klodin”. This only lasted for six (6) months. With the little knowledge and experience gathered from there, he went ahead to start his own clothing line and called it NKD STYLE. This was in 2014. His first client was in the person of the Archbishop Charles Agyinasare of the Perez Chapel International Church. I must say it was and is still an honour he doesn’t take for granted
That was officially the birth of the brand NKD STYLE. This breakthrough of sewing for the Archbishop, opened doors for the brand. He went ahead to sew for great men of God Like Rev Eastwood Anaba, Bishop Gideon Titi-Ofei, Apostle General Sam K. Ankrah, Bishop Tudor Bismark Of Zimbabwe just to mention a few.
Few years after, he was approached by Media General (TV3) to be the Official Head Designer for their Morning Show Host, Mr. Johnnie Hughes. A year after that amazing opportunity, EIB Network also came knocking to engage his services as the head designer for their morning show host, Mr. Ridwan Karim Dini-Osman
